| We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with other investigators requiring special studies involving basic virology research. Our investigators have decades of experience with retroviruses, hepatitis viruses, herpes viruses, respiratory viruses and viruses of military importance. In addition to our work in the areas of chemotherapy and vaccine development, our staff has had specific interests in the interaction of viruses with the host cell and issues of viral and cellular resistance to antiviral agents. Basic virology research initiatives may be developed and funded through government funded grants (SBIR or RO1 funding) to meet the needs of the client as part of a collaborative effort, including molecular virology, immunovirology and animal model development. |
| ImQuest BioSciences also specializes in the performance of virology service work. Representative assays include: |
| |
Production and titration of virus pools |
Quantitative enzymatic, structural component and infectious virus assays |
Southern, Northern, and Western assays, immunoprecipitation |
Protein production and purification |
